Tantra Yoga Path

Updated: Jan 16, 2022

💜According to where I studied Yoga Therapy,  at YogaLife Institute,  there is a 5th path of Yoga not mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita and that path is Tantra Yoga- The Yoga of Feeling and Energy.

🌟I think of this path as being mindful of caring for yourself as an energetic being. This is care of ths self on all levels- mindfulness about what you feed yourself physically,  energetically,  emotionally,  mentally and spiritually. This means actively working to  move towards purification through disciplined practices such as a physical Yoga asana (pose) and pranayama (breathing) practice.

🕉 This can also mean taking time to cleanse and clear your auric field of those things that are dulling or draining you energetically. This can also embrace the mystery behind using tools such as crystals,  smudges, intention setting,  and ceremonial types of practices.

🌟The Tantric Path  is a call to action to focus your energy towards taking in things that move you towards connecting more deeply with your Highest Self and releasing things that dull your shine.

☮I'll focus on leading students through an energetic balancing of their chakras, or 7 vortex's of the energetic body this week to explore this path.
