When the world is chaotic and the mind is caught in the storm- your Yoga practice can be a safe place to land. The entire purpose of Yoga is to find a blissfulness, to find freedom, to liberate your Soul Self from the drama of your human self. It's not to deny any of the tough times, but it's meant to help you see it all as "the grist of the mill for your awakening" - Ram Dass. There is a refuge within, a peacefulness that is always available no matter the outside circumstances. The way to find it is through practicing. Yoga has lots of different ways to chill out your humanness and to honor all parts of your being- body, breath, emotions, logical mind and spirit.
