What is so beautiful and magical about yoga practices is that they provide you with tools to strengthen your connection with your intuition. A lot of us in this current world of ours, myself included, have spent the majority of our lives in the rational thinking reasoning logical mind. Some time there is ok. But time only spent there leads one to burn out, tune out, fall over exhausted, give me something to shut my mind up mode (tv, food, sex, drugs, rock and roll... all the things). Now- indulging in sense pleasures is ok when appropriately applied in small doses. To balance this you must also learn to create some space in your life for things that fill you up instead of drain you more. When energetically on empty you cannot hear the voice of your intuition. Give yourself a gift and learn how to get out of the rational thinking mind and into connection with your intuition.
