This week in classes I am talking about fear and how it stands in the way of our true nature, which is love. I used to be scared to be my most authentic self, that people would judge me or not like me. Now I stand firmly like a mountain in the most awesome version of myself. Why? Because this is the work and this is how one lives their purpose- by facing fear of not being/having enough and fully embracing the totality of who they are in this life- which is a gift. The biggest fear we humans have is the fear of losing our identity (body, mind, possessions, relationships) when we die. Well guess what- we all die. Also remember that Yoga philosophy says our true nature always has been and will be love, we are not the physical, but are much more expansive. When you do die and you look back at your life who do you want to have been during your time here? Do you want to have been a human stuck in fear/worried about the future or one who embraced the present moment, challenges, obstacles, failures and triumphs all with an open heart? I choose the latter. How about you? Details below on tomorrow's livestream and how to practice with me anytime through On Demand video library.
