Certified Yoga Therapist

It's all happening! Yesterday I received an email permitting me to officially say I am a C-IAYT which means I am a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. To celebrate I am putting my name up in neon lights! I have no idea what will come of this, which is scary. But I am also excited because life wouldn't be half as fun without the delightful surprises from the Universe that I am confident lie ahead. The 3 year Yoga Therapy training that I completed at YogaLife Institute gave me a comprehensive study of Classical Yoga. Classical Yoga includes an ancient 8 fold path with guidance to support a more healthy and vital human life in body, mind and spirit. This includes lifestyle principles, physical movements, breathing practices, mindfulness and meditation techniques. The training I received turned me into a living expression of Yoga and I will be eternally grateful for the experience. This is then how I bring the Yoga to whoever shows up seeking. Yoga Therapy is typically a 1:1 experience, but can be done with a group. Individuals work along side their Yoga Therapist in exploring aspects of the Yoga path that can support them for a variety of things that include but are not limited to coping with: stress, anxiety and pain. Assessments are used to gain insight and goals are set to promote awareness. Yoga has tools for any human being's well-being and a Yoga Therapist helps to personalize the approach for the individual. If you or someone you know is interested in learning about what Yoga Therapy is or how it can support you please reach out. My style is as it says on the sign: lighthearted, playful and trauma informed. This means that as I lead yoga practices I encourage each student to meet themselves where they are at, release expectations and curiously explore their body, breath, senses/emotions, intellect/intuition and Spirit with loving kindness and compassion above all else. ☮🌟💜🌟🕉🦋🕉🌟💜🌟☮ Questions: Website: ☮🌟💜🌟🕉🦋🕉🌟💜🌟☮ #blissfulbutterfly #blissfulbutterflyyoga #yoga #comprehensiveyogatherapy #yogatherapy #ciayt #yogatherapist #traumainformedyoga #lighthearted #playful #traumainformed #yogateacher #yogapractice #yogainspiration #yogalife #yogalove #yogaeveryday #yogaeverywhere #yogi #meditation #mindfulness #yogajourney #yogalifestyle #health #wellness #love #peace #selflove #loveyourself
