Sounds of Nature

This week in classes instead of making a playlist I invited students to listen to sounds of the rainforest when they practiced. According to studies birdsong is effective in reducing stress while sounds of water showed improvement in a more positive mood. So next time you are feeling stressed look up some nature sounds and put yourself at ease. Embrace the moment, breathe deep and feel yourself held by the Earth.
