Feed Your Soul

I have simplified my nutrition during this pandemic. My studies to become a Yoga Therapist truly opened my eyes to the importance of focusing on nutrition in the sense of your entire being- what you take in to feed yourself. Movement, food, environment, emotionally, news, tv, music, the people closest to you, the community you engage with- how you feed your spirit, nature, art, creativity. My life is very simplistic these days I nourish myself on all levels- open windows with

Less Stuff More Life

Growing up I moved approximately 8-10 times before the age of 12. I attended 4 Catholic grade schools. We moved about every other year. This led to me having an obsession with "things" and "stuff." I was definitely a spoiled child when it came to physical things- clothes, toys, junk food, tv, computer when they 1st came out, video games. I definitely had a lot if stuff. Due to moving so much and having a very unique personality😌, I struggled with making friends 6th grade whe

Magical Hideaway

Rainbows🌈and flowers💐are in vogue and I am loving every minute of it. I also found what is basically Peter Pan's hideaway in the middle of my town. There is a handmade sign that says "Gully" with muddy handprints. When I was there three 12 year old girls came, I asked them about the place and if it's where the kids hang out and they said "Yeah the 8th graders named it." Of course I find this place🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️I also had a bunch of interesting conversations with strangers

To Be Happy

I found this song To Be Happy by Joey Pecoraro (no I don't own the rights, he does, isn't he awesome?)while in San Diego over Christmas through a new friend I met at the hostel I was staying at. I bought this hat when I was in San Diego as well. My San Diego trip tapped me into my sense of self and strength hence the smile seen on my face seen here. The shirt worn here represents my 200 hr YTT fundraising success in building a primary school in Malawi with #buildOn in 2014. T

Deer Guidance

When I went off the trail and into the woods to weep today, I looked up and saw a baby and a momma deer chillin and watching me. Then when I kept walking I saw an entire family of deer- more deer than I have ever seen. Deer symbolism according to spirit animal info: The meanings associated with the deer combine both soft, gentle qualities with strength and determination: Gentleness Ability to move through life and obstacles with grace Being in touch with inner child, innocenc

It has taken me awhile to re-claim my sweet lavender and teal Huffy. It's been over 3 years since my last ride. A lot has happened since then. Although I have changed a lot some parts are still the same. My adorable suburb neighborhood just got a taste of me blasting Siamese Dream and wearing tye dye as I road my sweet wheels around... To assist in my reclaiming I channeled my 10 year old, 16 year old and 19 year old selves....magical. "No more promise no more sorrow. No long

Heal, Rest, Grow

Today- I taught, listened to Ram Dass, taught, listened to Ram Dass, had a distance reiki healing session, spent time in nature while listening to Ram Dass. Released some wounded energy back into the Earth to be recycled, sang a song to one of my favorite children, was praised by a stranger in the park for my singing bringing him back to memories of his daughters as children, and connected with friends/family. Today was pretty magical for me. My quarantine pandemic experience

Love Yo' Self

How do you take care of yourself? How do you love yourself? Seriously- make a list- at least 10 things. Go. Post below. Share. Get other people to post. Put it up in your house. Tap Into Spirit

In this moment of dis-ease I have been tapping into gratitude big time. Since my move from Philly (where I was born and raised) to New Jersey almost 5 years ago- I have built up a community of beautiful souls around myself. This week, although I am “alone”- I have never felt more loved and nurtured in my entire life. I spent the better part of my teens through today writing. I have a collection of journals and a couple published poems to prove it. I am being called to write a

Tune In To You

No filter. The shine is real. What we need right now is to not dim, but to shine brighter. Pause, breathe, go within, tune into that part in you that is connected to me and everything else. Move from a centered space through the chaos. Don't have time to pause? Make time. Take care of yourself. Nature is giving each of us a reason to slow down, to get some sunshine, to remember... ...Deep breaths... Remember who you are... Spirit. Remember why you are here... To live. Remembe
